Hello,

I have the opportunity to purchase a 76 Daysailer II. It is a hull only ($125). Do you think it is worth it? I know the mast, sails, and rudder are very spendy. Can anyone give me some advise about this purchase?

mast will cost about a grand, rudder will be almost $400 sails will be about $1500, it is not worth it for free, unless you have easy access to inexpensive used parts.
In short, you will spend at least $3000 to get up and running, and you still need a trailer, halyards, life jackets, and odds and ends that may cost another few hundred dollars. Don't do it!
