Hull Type

I just purchased a Day Sailer and I have no idea what type of hull it is. Is there a marking on the boat or can you tell by the boat's hull number. Thanks John

Here's the easiest test. If you have a small rear deck (about 12"), you have a DS1. If the cockpit is open all the way to the transom, it's a DS2. They also built a DS3, but not many so it's unlikely you have one of these. I've never seen a DS3, so I can't tell you what differentiates it.
