Pole lights for trailer (& LEDs)

Postby Adrift » Sat Jan 20, 2007 5:06 pm

Hey, rather quiet around here. I would have thought with the cold settled around the country only us Floridians would be on the water and the rest would be hear moaning the many days til spring.

Anyhow, I was looking to re-do the lights on the trailer, and it so happens that I have those guide poles to help get the DS back onto the trailer so when I stumbled upon some lights that go on the poles rather than down on the frame I was (mildly) intrigued. Has anyone got them? What do you think?

On a similar topic how many of you have LED lights and would recommend such? Can anyone recommend a brand of lights in general? (Over on the WM site, the product they sell has some very poor reviews.)

Thanks,
SK, Adrift

I am planning the same mod for my DS2. Sorry, I don't know much about lights, except that they should certainly last longer w/o the periodic dunking. Let us know what you do. Also, where in Florida are you? I'm in Ft. Lauderdale.
