The link in your post didn't work, I got your image to show up as follows:
1. Clicked on your personal gallery (the message said the gallery doesn't exist)

2. Clicked page back on my browser to return the the DS home page (the image showed very briefly)

3. Clicked page forward, and the image appeared and stayed (a DS with the cuddy roof severely damaged)

Computer mysteries aside, what happened to the boat?

That must have made a sickening crunch.

I guess I have to practice my posting skills.

This a boat that given to me to fix up for my son, he wants try his hand at sailing.
The PO had it parked under some trees for lack of having anywhere else to keep it at local apartment complex.
He moved it to someones back yard on a farm after the crash and it has been sitting since. not under trees, Go figure?

It a 1982, It needs of course some repair work I am not sure if it is repairable?
no sails, spreaders broke, running rigging gone. standing seems ok. and it has some external gelcoat damage, dock bumps I guess? other than that it seems ok. The mast does have a slight curve in it at the spreaders not bad enough to kink the sail track. looks serviceable.

Not a beginner's project, I'd think. If you have the time to put into it.

Problem is, you'll probably spend as much as you would for a similar boat that doesn't have these problems, not counting your time.

Not so much the damage to the cuddy top, but all the other things you mention. But perhaps, you simply need a challenge?
