Does anyone have recommendations for good + used or new sails at a good price? I've looked around and a new main and jib (at a good price) aren't much less than I paid for the boat!
How about Intensity Sails? Anyone have experience with them? They are really well-priced (new)--seems too good to be true.

There are several threads about them, which you can find by clicking on the search box and typing in the word intensity.
Generally, people who've used them seem to be happy with them, although there was considerable debate in one of the earlier threads on whether they were racing sails or cruising sails, or faster-than-class-legal sails.

Intensity--faster than legal? Interesting, but unlikely. In fact, I think cloth weight is on the high side. I like mine, especially for its reef. Nice sails.

I got a full set from Intensity and have been happy with them. I thought the service was pretty good. Willing to answer questions online. And they were nice about replacing the traditional sail bag they provided with a roller bag I requested.

How about the cloth quality and weight on Intensity? I was trying to compare them with Kelly Hanson and they use different measurement to relay weight so I was of course immediately confused. If you compare Intensity to say, Neil Pryde or some other larger name is the weight about the same? I also wondered if Intensity will put hull numbers on sails.

I've had positive experience with Jotz sails. Bit more pricey, but made to order locally, or more precisely, in the hills of Northern California. Competent advice, goes without saying, and shipped sooner than promised. A number of the faster sailors have used his sails.

When I got Intensity sails, they came with numbers you applied yourself. I was skeptical, but so far, so good. Note also (regarding the question about Intensity being racing or cruising sails) that he now offers two grades, the offshore-made low-cost sails that people have been talking about, and US-made racing sails, including reefless main, large-window jib, and a spinnaker.
