Long shaft

Anyone ever run a long shaft ouboard on their DS? I have to imagine it is too long.

I had a Suzuki 5 hp long shaft on mine for a few years. It was weight that finally made me decide to go to an electric for all I needed.

I have too much motoring to do to get to the open bay for electric. Maybe long shaft will do. Thanks to all who responded!
