Spinnaker Pole

I would like to fabricate a spinnaker pole. Can anyone supply the outside diameter and eye to eye length for the pole?

od may be of various sizes, depending on the size of the end fittings which are available in various sizes from one up. Mine is 1 inch. max length is 74 inches including fittings. I have a sliding hook and spike, but would like to move to two hooks to facilitate end for end jibing. Where you attach it to the mast is also specified as between 24 to 48 inches up,and only two fittings allowed. The rules are silent on a sliding track within the above parameters. The fitting cannot protrude 2 inches forward of the mast.
