proud of my DS

Postby focacube » Fri Sep 04, 2009 5:57 pm

As I said in Italy there are not so many DS but anyone who have seen my boat says that it is one of the beautiful day-sailer they have ever seen: confortable, smart, easy and also fast enought... that is why I am proud of my DS...
We will get the boat ready for next year for the new race season (new sails, new gears,...) to make this boat well known also in Italy and we will report our results to this forum.

So you can say there is a DS fleet also in Italy...

Hi Focacube,

I just noticed the picture of your boat. It looks like a DSII - but I'm not certain. Do you have an idea of how old it is? Are there any markings on the boat or perhaps a metal plate with numbers?

It looks nice - and it looks like you were all having fun! Where do you sail?

No, any idea of how old is it and we did not found any plate (may be under the paints).
I have owned this boat about ten years ago than I had to sell it to my friend and this year I bought it again
Some works have to be done (new sails, some new gear, spinnaker) but we had lot of fun anyway.
We are from Friuli (Italy), Grado nearby Trieste (about 100km from Venice)
