Does anyone know of a source for a smaller jib that could be used in higher winds? I have wondered if one designed for a smaller dinghy might work.

I bought a small jib (actually wanted a larger one but the price was great) from Masthead (http://www.mastheadsailinggear.com/). I have gotten three sails from them and have been very pleased. You can look around their web site.
However, you'll find the small sail no friend on a run, and it just might get you in irons. On balance, though, I like it as things get gusty here on the Kennebec River in Maine.
