Just finished some repairs to the mast on my new to me DS 3 and raised the mast in the driveway. As I tightened the mainsheet I noticed something wrong with the block. The sheeves in the mainsheet block are broken. It is a Garhauer part. Doe anyone know if I can get this repaired? D&R has a replacement but it is not the same as I have. The cam cleat releases from the bottom instead of the top. I think that would be awkward to use. Also has anyone ever removed the mainsheet block. What is behind it? Will I need to remove the center board to reach the backside to install the replacement?

I have an extra one here if you are interested. Nothing wrong with it. When I added a traveller it had its own mainsheet block.
