I am currently looking for an '80's model DS1 and would like to know pros and cons for the various hull manufacturers of that vintage.
Also, at what points did the "backrest" flotation above the seats disappear and then reappear in production?
I am seeking a hull that will be as self-rescuing as possible.

I was looking through some of the old postings (April)on the Day Sailer web site and noticed no one responded to you inquiry.

Did you buy a Day Sailer?

Do you still need info on the different builders? if so let me know I will be happy to share any info I have.
