The 2008 NACR will be held in Eugene, Oregon, and the 2009 NACR will be held at Stage Harbour, Chatham, Massachusetts.

Phil and Tami Root managed to squeak out victory in the championship fleet on the last day of racing with two bullets to give them the championship on the number of firsts taken. On points they tied with Mike and Erik McCaffrey who sailed some solid races on the previous days.
Bob Gaffney & Emily Szczypek from the New England region won the presidential fleet by one point over Lee Peterson, Rich Bernard & Charlotte Zeyer of Wisconsin.
We had five boats sail in the Juniors, with the McCaffreys (Erik as the skipper this time) walking away with five bullets, although you wouldn't have thought so from watching on shore. There were some very close finishes in the junior regatta. The Fiocks came on with solid performance throughout the racing and edged out Jenna and Gary Ogden for second place. As usual, we awarded the perpetual trophies to those folks who won them according to the criteria associated with them.
